Privacy Policy

The short version

The businesses you extract never reach us. Extraction happens in your browser and the CSV is written on your machine. Our servers receive a count and an anonymised listing identifier, and nothing else.

What the extension sends us

• A random installation identifier, generated on your machine. It is not a device or browser fingerprint, and we store only a keyed hash of it.
• Your activation key, at activation, so we can verify it. We store only a hash.
• A count of listings kept, and a one-way hash of each listing's Google identifier — used to make sure you are not charged twice for the same business.
• Your IP address, as any web request carries. We store only a keyed hash, used to detect key sharing.

The hashes are computed with a secret held only on our server, so even a full database breach would not reveal which businesses you researched.

What the extension never sends us

Business names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, websites, ratings, review counts, your search terms, or your exported files. None of it is transmitted anywhere.

What we hold about you as a customer

• Your email address, for delivering your key and account notices.
• Your Polar customer and subscription identifiers. Polar is our merchant of record: card details are handled entirely by them and never reach us.
• An audit log of activations, device changes and suspensions.

Email lookup

If you enable email lookup, your browser fetches pages from the business's own website directly. Those requests come from you, not from us, and are sent without cookies so a site you are signed in to cannot return your own account details. We never see the results.

Retention

Usage records are kept for 13 months for billing and abuse investigation, then deleted. Account records are kept while your licence is live and for 7 years afterwards where tax law requires it.

Your rights

You can request a copy of, correction of, or deletion of your account data by emailing support@qbotly.com. Deleting your account data ends your licence.

Your obligations as a controller

Data you collect with the extension is yours and we are not a processor of it. You are the controller and are responsible for your lawful basis, retention and the marketing rules that apply where you operate.

Analytics and session recording

This website — not the extension — runs our own analytics and session recording, so we can see which parts of the site people find confusing and fix them. It records page views, clicks, scrolling, mouse movement and how long you spend on a page, and it can replay that as a visual recording of your visit.

It is our own software, running on our own infrastructure at leadfnf.com. Nothing is sold or passed to an advertising network.

What recording deliberately does not capture

• Every input on the account page, where you enter your activation key. That page masks all fields, so the key never reaches a recording.
• Your activation key on the trial and success pages, where it is shown on screen. Those elements are excluded from recording entirely.
• What you type into the contact form. We receive the message itself by email, but the recording shows only that you typed, not what.
• Password, email, telephone and numeric fields anywhere on the site, which are masked as they are typed.

Recording never runs inside the browser extension, and never on Google Maps. It applies to this website only.

Storage

This site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The analytics script stores a session identifier in your browser's local and session storage so it can tell one visit from another. Polar sets its own cookies on its checkout pages, governed by Polar's privacy policy.

Opting out

Browsers that send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, and most content blockers, will stop the script loading. You can also email support@qbotly.com and we will delete any recordings associated with your visits.
